Most of us have seen frogs just jumping from one place to another; but this feature of the frogs, mentioned below is enough to fascinate you!
Like human beings or other animals, frogs cannot vomit. When they eat something horrible and want to remove it, the body mechanism of frogs turns their stomach inside out and all the rubbish inside it is removed. Then it swallows its stomach with the help of its hands!

This process of bringing the stomach to mouth in frogs is called “full gastric eversion.”

Some astounding facts about frogs :

1) Many frogs can jump 20 times their own height. Some can jump even higher!

2) Frogs don’t drink water with their mouths; they “drink” by absorbing water through their skin.

3) The golden dart frog is the most poisonous frog on earth and the skin of one frog could kill up to 1,000 people.

4) A group of birds is called a flock, a group of cattle is called a herd, but a group of frogs is called an army!

5) The biggest frog in the world is the Goliath frog. It lives in West Africa and can measure more than a foot in length and weigh more than 7 pounds, as much as a newborn baby.

There are around 4,810 species of frogs of which the Leptodactylidae, Hylidae and Ranidae are the most commonly found species.
